Good and Bad Advertisement.

Good Ad.
I chose this advertisement for Post-It notes as my good advertisement because I thought it was clever. Often times they are used to help people remember something, so the question mark makes a lot of sense. Also the common notes, written on each small Post-It makes it relatable.

Bad Ad.
I choose this advertisement for Oscar Mayer as my bad advertisement because it isn't initially understandable. The major issue I had with it is that the actual product that they are selling is not the first thing that drew my eye. It also, in my opinion, narrows down the target audience to women; when the product is convenient for everyone.

Setting up...

As a Studio Art major (for now!), I felt that taking this Advertising Design course would be extremely beneficial to me.  I'm extremely interested in graphics and advertising!! I love all forms of art but I really enjoy print. Hopefully, after taking this class I will be able to improve my Photoshop and Illustrator skills, learn a few useful tricks and start my career!... In.My.Dreams. But, I do hope to improve my skills, and learn what 'good' advertising is all about. I hope to have fun, stay focused and receive a good grade.
